Abstract:

Results of the VR2 workshop held on Catalina Island Nov. 28-Dec. 1, 2005. While the technology produced by Vemco Ltd. of Nova Scotia, Canada is widely used by biologists, there are limitations in design and a need to address issues raised by its dramatic use increase. This document summarizes results of discussions amongst VR2 users and Vemco staff. User concerns were addressed and the current limitations and future directions of this technology were presented and discussed.
