Abstract:

This item is part of a series of letters of application for positions at the Bass Biological Laboratory and Zoological Research Supply Company, primarily secretary and technician positions. This letter to Stewart Springer recommends Marjorie Harris for a position at the lab. Harris would later accept the position, and she and Carr married in 1937.
