Abstract:

This item is part of a series of index cards containing information on specimens gathered or observed in the Englewood area. These cards include information such as the date when the species was observed or collected, its location, and breeding season observations. The cards ere part of an index file on local flora and fauna kept by the Bass Lab. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s. The date for this species is listed as 1935.
