The Water Quality Assessment Project, sponsored by the Surface Water Improvement and Management Program (SWIM) of the Southwest Florida Management District (SWFWMD) was developed to determine the light requirements of Thalassia testudinum within Tampa Bay. The project was one of several linking watershed management and loadings control with water quality(chlorophyll and solids),light attenuation, and seagrass cover within the Bay. |
