Abstract:

This item is part of a series of letters of application for positions at the Bass Biological Laboratory and Zoological Research Supply Company, primarily a secretary position. This letter to John F. Bass Jr. declines the position offered due to a friend's acceptance of the same position. Foster recommends Miss Harris, presumably Marjorie Harris, later Marjorie Harris Carr.
