Abstract:
This report summarizes a one-year study of boating activity in Broward County, Florida, conducted during 2004 and 2005. The purpose of this work was to provide critical information necessary for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Manatee Protection Plan for Broward County. Two methods were used to accomplish this goal, aerial surveys and fixed point surveys.
