dc.description.abstract |
This item is part of a series of correspondence, business records, and information relating to the manufacture and distribution of shark products. For a few years beginning in 1938, most of the shark products distributed from the supply company were produced under the name Genuine Shark Products. A number of these records refer to dogfish, a term which today can refer to a number of different types of sharks. This letter to Stewart Springer discusses conditions in Massachusetts with the fishermen and methods of injecting starfish. |
