Abstract:

This item is part of a series of correspondence, business records, and information relating to the manufacture and distribution of shark products. For a few years beginning in 1938, most of the shark products distributed from the supply company were produced under the name Genuine Shark Products. A number of these records refer to dogfish, a term which today can refer to a number of different types of sharks. This letter to George D. Sevris, Sam Kleva, Donald R. Campbell, and Daniel Sowers, among others, discusses an order for dogfish.
