dc.description.abstract This item is part of a series of correspondence, business records, and information relating to the manufacture and distribution of shark products. For a few years beginning in 1938, most of the shark products distributed from the supply company were produced under the name Genuine Shark Products. A number of these records refer to dogfish, a term which today can refer to a number of different types of sharks. This letter to Donald B. Powell of the Zoological Research Supply Company from the United States Bureau of Fisheries gives contact information for fishermen and companies. en
