dc.description.abstract This item is part of a series of correspondence, business records, and information relating to the manufacture and distribution of shark products, especially shark livers. For a few years beginning in 1938, most of the shark products distributed from the supply company were produced under the name Genuine Shark Products. This letter to Stewart Springer acknowledges a gift to the Smithsonian from the Bass Biological Laboratory. en
