This report discusses a two-year study describing the extend and activities of the local elasmobranch fishery in the Gulf of California. The survey was conducted from 1998-1999 in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, and Sinaloa. The goal was to improve the understanding, conservation and management of shark and ray populations in the Gulf of California. |
