This paper describes the first progress report of a project with a goal to evaluate possible immunotoxic effects associated with brevetoxins produced during blooms of Karenia brevis and to improve understanding of essential immune system pathways that may be impacted by brevetoxin exposure and thus result in effects on human health. |
