Stocking and reestablishment feasibility demonstration : recruitment of bay scallops in Pansy Bayou, Sarasota Bay, Florida through spawner transplants.

Abstract

This project attempted to facilitate bay scallop recruitment within a protected seagrass meadow in Sarasota Bay by following the response of spawner transplants. Six hundred and fifty transplanted bay scallops were kept in cages in Pansy Bayou.
