dc.description.abstract	This item is part of a series of correspondence and business records relating to the distribution of shark products, especially sharks teeth and sharks teeth jewelry. Most of the shark products distributed by the supply company in 1938 and after were produced under the name Genuine Shark Products. This letter to Frank Johnson in Key West informs him that the Zoological Research Supply Company no longer produces shark jewelry, but would be willing to sell the remaining materials at a discount.	en

The Zoological Research Supply Company was the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory. The activities of both the Laboratory and the Zoological Research Supply Company were closely intertwined.
