dc.description.abstract This report describes the 2007-2008 activities of the National Shark Research Consortium. The NSRC includes the Center for Shark Research at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida, the Pacific Shark Research Center at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, Moss Landing, California, the Shark Research Program at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Gloucester Point, Virginia and the Florida Program for Shark Research at the University of Florida, Florida Museum of Natural History, Gainesville, Florida. The consortium objectives include shark-related research in the Gulf of Mexico and along the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the U.S., education and scientific cooperation. en
