dc.description.abstract This report discusses a one-year field study that was conducted in order to evaluate changes in recreational boating activity resulting from recent changes in speed zone regulations along the Charlotte County portion of Lemon Bay, Florida. Two specific tasks were conducted. Boat-based fixed point surveys were performed in order to evaluate and characterize boater behavior, and aerial video surveys were also performed in order to examine boat temporal and spatial patterns of recreational boat use throughout Lemon Bay. en
