Abstract

This study describes the results of a multi-year project which collected vessel traffic data both before and after the establishment of new boat speed zones in Terra Ceia Bay (Manatee County), Florida. The information collected serves as an important tool in the evaluation of regulatory zones as a management alternative for manatee protection.
