This report discusses a study which examines the link between Florida Keys dissolved organic matter and coral surface mucopolysaccharide layer. The project goal was to test the central hypothesis that water column dissolved organic matter has a strong influence on coral microbial populations. This study was conducted in Florida Bay and middle and lower Florida Keys. |
