Data report. Survey and assessment of natural resource mapping efforts in the Sarasota Bay project area for the National Estuary Program.

Abstract

This survey of mapping and inventory efforts in the Sarasota Bay project area for the National Estuary Program was conducted in support of the NEP Wetlands Project, Phase One effort: "To inventory and evaluate existing and new wetland mapping projects with respect to data and findings applicable to the present investigation". It is the intent of Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for NEP characterization studies that maximum use be made of available local information, especially data concerning habitat, dredging, and storm waters.
