| dc.description.abstract | This study was undertaken as part of an attempt to understand the migration and stock identity of the king mackerel, Scomberomorus cavalla, in the Gulf of Mexico. The NOAA/NMFS Southeast Fisheries Center's (SEFC) Panama City Laboratory, under the MARFIN Program, contracted with Mote Marine Laboratory (MML) to work with the Mexus-Gulf Agreement to report historical landings data and other pertinent information, to obtain specimens for electrophoresis, and to tag king and Spanish mackerel at specific Mexico locations. | en_US |
