Abstract

A survey of shark tournament activity and a comparative database of inshore longlining operations in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico were used to examine historical trends in the Florida waters from 1971 to 1991. Includes selected longline catch data (1975-1989) from Charles Fred Crooke.
