dc.description.abstract	The goals of the project included continuing the photo-identification efforts of Manatees in southwestern Florida, particularly in Matlacha Isles; to supplement efforts by State personnel to conduct the photo-identification efforts at and near the FPL Ft. Myers power plant during the winter months; to augment photo-identification efforts in Sarasota Bay during non-winter months; and to conduct aerial surveys of Matlacha Isles and Caloosahatchee River areas in winter.
