dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project was to initiate development of reliable indicators of manatee immune health with potential diagnostic utility. The long-term goal is to develop a panel of diagnostic indicators of manatee immune health to assist in rescue and rehabilitation efforts. Before compiling the desired panel of manatee immune health indicators, data from various immunological tests with potential diagnostic utility must be assimilated. Consequently, the focus of the current project was to gather data from various immunological tests and evaluate the potential utility of these tests as diagnostic indicators. en_US
