Abstract:
This report is an amendment to a contract representing the second year continuation of a three year project. The project focuses on five major areas of study which include red tide monitoring, ecology of harmful algal blooms (HABs), health effects of HABs, socioeconomic aspects of HABs, and public education and outreach. Research activities within each category are summarized.
