dc.description.abstract The information in this report represents the collaborative efforts of scientists from Mote Marine Laboratory. the Florida Marine Research Institute, Eckerd College, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Chicago Zoological Society, and North Carolina State University, working together to gather, interpret, and disseminate information of importance to the recovery of the Florida manatee. The eleven projects summarized were funded by the State of Florida during October 1999 - September 2000. The project reports were prepared by the principal investigators for each individual project. en_US
