dc.description.abstract This report constitutes quarter 1, August 1 - September 30, 1995, on the Cobia Stock Assessment study in the Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic. This study was undertaken as part of an attempt to understand the stock identity of the cobia, providing age and growth information, develop an age/length key and obtain data on reproduction of cobia captured off the southeast coast of the United States from North Carolina to the Florida Keys and in the Gulf of Mexico from the Florida Gulf Coast to the coast of Texas. This report outlines the success in achieving these goals. en_US
