This collection includes items also found in the Bass Biological Laboratory Collection. Items include correspondence with the Bass Biological Laboratory from 1936-1939 & 1941.

The records in the Bass Biological Laboratory collection include papers from visiting scientists, research records, laboratory operational records, and personal papers of John F. Bass, Jr. The items in the Bass collection derive from the research done at the lab by staff and visiting scientists as well as the daily operations of the lab.
