Abstract:
This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This item discusses the application process for obtaining a permit under Regulation 9 of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. All applications were required to be endorsed by ornithologists and zoological professionals, and had to state the specific purposes for collecting.
