Abstract:

This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to the commanding officer at the U. S. Army base in Key West requests permission to collect specimens on and around Key West and in the surrounding waters.
