Abstract:
This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the state level. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to the shellfish commissioner of the Florida Department of Conservation discusses a shipment across state lines to the New York Aquarium for Dr. Charles M. Breder Jr. of fish not covered by a research permit.
