Abstract:

This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the state level. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to N. D. Lloyd of the Florida State Board of Conservation discusses oyster beds and current problems with oyster parasites, as well as state laws on regarding marine creatures.
