Abstract:

This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the state level. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter from N. D. Lloyd of the Florida State Board of Conservation to John F. Bass Jr. discusses leasing bay waters from the state to set up oyster, clam, and scallop beds.
