Abstract:

This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This item discusses mullet research, and gives the Bass lab a permit for collecting marine animals, as well as what kinds of, and how to obtain, alcohol for preserving specimens.
