Abstract:
This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to John F. Bass Jr. discusses ways to obtain material for making plankton nets with silk bolting cloth and iron rings, as well as ways to care for and handle plankton and tow nets.
