Abstract:
This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to Frank T. Bell discusses the sea turtle conservation ideas and the economic advantages to local fisherman, as well as Bass' suggestions on how to protect and release hatchlings to increase populations along Florida's coast.
