Abstract:

This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to Frank T. Bell requests information on the ways sharks are used commercially and methods for catching sharks and tanning and curing shark hides.
