These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to John F. Bass Jr. is a response to Bass' earlier letter updating the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries on Bass lab activities and inquiring whether the lab's collecting permit needed to be renewed.	en_US
