This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to Chas E. Jackson requests Bureau of Fisheries document 870, the "Life history of the blue crab."
