Abstract:
This letter is part of the correspondence between the Bass Biological Laboratory and various political and governmental figures, particularly at the United States Bureau of Fisheries. These letters include the exchange of data, materials, and information on biological subjects and problems during the 1930s. This letter to congressman James Hardin Peterson discusses a request to put the Bass lab on the mailing list for the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries and the lab's work in investigating sponge disease in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
