Bass Jr. discusses general news relating to the Bass lab in Englewood, Florida and the Zoological Research Supply Company, as well as the Tribune Press of Tampa, Florida. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s along with its profit-making subsidiary called the Zoological Research Supply Company. en_US
