This letter to John F. Bass Jr. is most likely from Stewart Springer and discusses information and news from the Bass lab in Englewood, Florida, and the Zoological Research Supply Company. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s along with its profit-making subsidiary called the Zoological Research Supply Company.
