Abstract:
This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to Stewart Springer discusses ZRS business and efforts to improve relationships between the Bass lab and ZRS in Englewood, Florida and John F. Bass Jr.'s Chicago office. This item mentions the donation of a skeleton to the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, Illinois, and an order for shark teeth from Campbell Cereal Company.
