Abstract:
This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to W. T. Harrison of the Division of Biologics Control discusses an inspector's visit to the ZRS and Bass lab in Englewood, Florida, in order to procure a license for the lab to produce venom solutions.
