Abstract:
This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to John F. Bass Jr. from the United States Division of Biologics Control suggests that an inspector visit the Bass lab as part of the process for obtaining a license which would allow the Bass lab to prepare venom solutions.
