Abstract:

This item includes notes by John F. Bass Jr. during his time in Mexico, most likely notes to include in later correspondence to his staff at the Bass lab. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s.
