Abstract:

This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to Donald Brooks Powell from the Division of Biologics Control discusses scheduling an inspection of the Bass lab/ZRS facilities as part of the process to obtain a permit for producing certain kinds of toxins.
