dc.description.abstract This section of a letter to John F. Bass Jr. in Mexico City is presumably from J. Lear Grimmer, and updates Bass on general events occurring at the Bass lab in Englewood, incoming bills and financial matters, and employee activities. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s. en_US
