This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, specifically regarding permits and licenses. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to Donald Brooks Powell is a response to Powell's earlier request for forms in order to obtain a license to prepare toxins associated with arthritis and rheumatism. W. G. Workman of the Division of Biologics Control inquired about the method of preparation, the nature of the work, and the use of the product as well as advising Powell of the regulations concerning the work. |
