Critical evaluation of red drum stock enhancement releases in Biscayne Bay, Florida.

Abstract

This report describes a project that will expand work already performed to increase information on the success of red drum stock enhancement in Biscayne Bay, Florida based on fishery-independent sampling. Project includes the activities to increase angler awareness; performing creel surveys; acquiring carcasses for evaluation of coded wire tag retention and genetic determination; and initiation of fishery-independent assessment work.
