Abstract:

This letter, possibly written by John F. Bass Jr., is addressed only to "Bill," possibly William (Bill) Davis, and discusses the chlorine content in water at the Bass lab. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s.
